The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp was founded in 1988 by Paul Newman to give children with serious illnesses the chance to “raise a little hell.” Through a variety of year-round programs offered on site, in hospitals and clinics, and right in camper homes and communities, we serve more than 20,000 seriously ill children and family members each year.

The Hartford Rib Off Scholarship Fund
A $2,500 scholarship (non-renewable) will be awarded annually to a graduating high school student who has shown commitment to their community through volunteer service. The beneficiary of this scholarship will be a high school student from Hartford in need of supplemental support for expenses while at college. The Hartford Rib Off knows that while expenses for classes, books, and room and board can be covered by academic scholarships, expenses related to living while at college are not. This scholarship will help to alleviate the burden of these expenses so that the student can concentrate on learning. |
